Abstract: Let K be the fraction field of a two-dimensional complete local domain with finite residue field F, and \ell a prime number different from char(F). Let A be a central simple K-algebra whose Brauer class [A] is of order \ell. We show that the cyclicity of [A] can be tested over local completions of K.
