| Abstract: | Let $p$ be a prime. In this talk, we discuss a way to construct semi-stable deformation rings in Hodge--Tate weights $(0,r)$, where $r$ is a positive even integer less than $p-1$, of absolutely irreducible 2-dimensional residual representations. This is an ongoing joint work with Lucio Guerberoff. |
