Title: Approximation and extension of hermitian metrics on holomorphic vector bundles over Stein manifolds
Abstract: Singular metrics for holomorphic vector bundles are extensively studied recently, and is closely related to important problems in complex geometry. One of the method to study singular metrics is to apply approximations theorems. For line bundles, we have Demailly’s celebrated theorem. In this talk, we will introduce our recent results on approximation and extension theorems of hermitian metrics on holomorphic vector bundles on Stein manifolds. These are based on joint work with Prof. Fusheng Deng, Jiafu Ning and Xiangyu Zhou.
