Title: Around Fargues-Scholze
Abstract: I will explain the geometric structures showing up in my joint work with Scholze on the Geometrization of the local Langlands correspondence. I will moreover explain the geometric objects showing up in my recent project on the p-adic Langlands program.
 
 
Laurent Fargues, Research Director of the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), invited speaker for International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM) 2018. He is the leading expert on p-adic Hodge theory in the field of number theory and arithmetical geometry. He is also the "Morningside Distinguished Visiting Professor".
