| Abstract: | In this talk, I will briefly survey the history of the S-W and arithmetic S-W formula. How the arithmetic S-W came to Kudla's mind (my guess)? If time permits, I will talk about my recent work with Bruinier on Arithmetic S-W for orthogonal Shimura varieties (first term) of signature (n, 2), and my joint work with Du Tuoping on arithmetic S-W for classical modular curve (2nd term). |
